About
I have spent twenty years running digital for consumer brands and retailers — as a VP and SVP at Guitar Center, BCBG Max Azria Group, Tillster and Concentrix, and in advisory and consulting work for Nike, Disney and Skechers.
In 2010 at Guitar Center I built one of the earliest buy-online-pickup-in-store, ship-from-store and endless-aisle operations in US retail. It felt pioneering at the time. Looking back, it was foundational — and it doubled online revenue, from $150 million to $300 million, without a dollar of additional inventory investment. Later at BCBG I partnered with Demandware, now Salesforce, to launch a unified commerce platform when almost nobody had one, and led the brand's expansion into more than 200 countries.
The pattern across all of it: the problem was rarely the technology, and almost always the operating model around it. Who owns the number. Who decides. What the organisation is actually able to execute once the platform is live. Companies buy software to solve problems that software cannot reach.
I started Cnectivity to do that work for businesses that need the function rather than the headcount. I work with a small number of consumer and retail companies at a time, and I currently lead B2B strategy and partnerships for a live video platform.
